Soap made the old-fashioned way.

What is lye soap?

Lye is an essential part of traditional soapmaking. When carefully combined with oils through saponification, it is transformed into real soap and naturally occurring glycerin.

Real soap

Made through traditional saponification rather than with synthetic detergents.

Naturally simple

A short ingredient list without added dyes or synthetic fragrance.

Gently cleanses

Washes away everyday dirt and oil while naturally produced glycerin remains in the soap.

A common question

But isn't lye harsh?

Lye is caustic before soap is made, but it does not remain active in a properly formulated and fully cured bar. During saponification, the lye and oils react together and become something new: soap.
