Description

GRANDMA'S Poison Ivy Bar w/Jewelweed, 2.0 oz.
If exposed, wash contact areas well with cool water and GRANDMA’S Poison Ivy Bar to remove poison oils. (Cool water keeps the pores closed reducing the likelihood that the oils will penetrate the skin.) If rash develops wash & rinse affected areas with Poison Ivy Bar and then pat a little lather on the rash and leave on to dry, which will stop the itch immediately. Repeat as necessary to control itch, including itch from bug bites. (Lather dries clear and won't stain fabrics.) Colloidal oatmeal also helps calm inflamed irritated skin.

Active Ingredients                                           Purpose
Colloidal Oatmeal         (Avena sativa) - .007% Skin Protectant

Inactive Ingredients: Jewelweed (Impatiens biflora), Food Grade Lard, Lye (Sodium hydroxide) and Water (Aqua).

Indications: Temporarily protects and helps relieve minor skin irritation and itching due to Poison Ivy, Oak or Sumac.
Warnings
For external use only do not get into eyes.
Stop using and ask a doctor if condition worsens or if symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again in a few days. Keep out of reach of children.

We have used the poison ivy bar before and it really helps. When we got exposed I was out so we didn't get to start use it right away. When we got the bar we used it relive the itch. It does help.

Incredible product!!!!
Works very well. My daughter is highly allergic to poison ivy. She will apply this soap before going out into the woods and it helps to prevent poison ivy exposure.
