* A gggg-grandson of Barnabas Curtis sent a correction to this page, adding a daughter, Harriet. Please read further.
“A Memorial and Biographical Record of Iowa”, published by Lewis Publishing Company, Chicago, Illinois, 1903, has a biographical sketch of Lot Curtis on p327. It attributes Thomas and Fanny St. Clair Curtis as having 7 children, with another daughter named Harriet being born after Malinda and before Lot. Melinda was my GG-grandmother and she married an Isaac griffith here in Belmont County, Ohio. Let me know if I can help in any way.
